Snow Racing Update!

Last week Comp Racing’s snowshoe team Dungeon Rock Racing had another great turnout (14) at the Horse Hill Nature Preserve 7k snowshoe race in Merrimack NH. Comp was well represented with 10 (ME, Dan C, Jay C, Bill M, Sal & Liza G, Stu G, Eileen D, Matt G, Christen J, and cheering us on Paul P and his canine pal Daisy). Snow conditions were rock hard making for a fast course although tough on the ankles (Matt will 2nd that I’m sure). Christen had a great race in her first time out with DRR, hope to see you back for more. See attached for a couple racing picts. With our Orange team jerseys blazing the trail, we thought for sure this was the race DRR would finally top front running Acidiotic Racing. We would find out later Acidotic had 16 racers, incognito, and DRR just couldn’t beat them to the finish, DRR 192.75 pts, Acidotic 234.50, although it was the closest finish to date. Next week at Kingman Farm we’ll be DRR’s last chance to win a team title, and the numbers are about equal. Let the challenge begin!

Train hard, race fast, always make it fun, Patrick.
