Congratulations!
You've stumbled onto the new home for updates, race reports, sponsor updates, and product reviews by Comprehensive Racing, and a few random musings along the way. For those of you who don't know us, Comprehensive Racing was formed in 2001 as 3 person team in order to be able to compete as a relay team in the world of multisport racing and promote the benefits associated with a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Since then, we have grown the team to be one of the most successful and welcoming teams in New England, with representation in all 6 New England States at all levels of competition, with about 50 athletes club athletes and about 30 that race almost every week in the sport of triathlon. The plans for 2009 and beyond for Comprehensive Racing involve continuing to develop our multisport team which finished the 2008 season ranked 2nd in the FIRM Grand Prix race series, the largest triathlon series in New England. In addition to racing in New England, we had members racing the world over in Ironman races, members competing at the Long Course World Championships in Europe and recently sending both the male and female representative from Massachusetts to the Best of the US triathlon in Arizona.
Playing on this success, Comprehensive Racing has started a smaller cycling team as well in conjunction with Salem Cycle, with individuals focusing on all major disciplines including track, road, mountain and cyclocross. While this team is still developing, we have recently had some very promising results, particularly in cyclocross with the team garnering several top 10 finishes in the B and C categories, as well as 3 podium finishes in 3 races, including 1 win. In addition, we will be continuing the evolution of the Witches Cup Criterium in Salem, MA, which is now moving into it's 3rd year after a decade long hiatus.
That's us in a nutshell, but feel free to head on over to our full website at www.comprehensive-racing.com for more information!
