WEBSTER Tri

Go figure..every other year the weather sucks...but today the weather couldn't decide whether to suck or just pretend to suck...it wanted to rain, but just couldn't come through. Misting and windy, the warm and hazy...ugh....

Another banner day..

Let's start with the Double..the back to backs..

Patriot / Webster....

Another Boooyah to Super Don and Kosmo Dave with the addition of Bethany splitten the waves and taking 1st over all team. Bethany rocked a monster 12 min swim 7th out in the wave of Clydes,Team and 20 something men, followed by Don BIG RING crunch up and over the hill followed again by Kosmo with a 3 mile 2009 pr....sub 7 run...fighting off a 2nd place finish less than 40 seconds behind and a full 4 Mins ahead of the Cyclonaughts..(Who was that 2nd team)

To Captain Patrick who teamed with his son Tayler for the 3rd year in a row to take 4th Male team..Patrick after really putting out a tremendous effort at Patriot did his run loop at a very sexy 18 and change...for those math folks..that's a bit higher than 6 min miles...The man ROX!!! And the young protégé Tayler showing some effort on the bike (looking like Dad) with a nifty 20 mph for the 20 year old.

Nancy T the Trump Card...after having exhausting trips back and forth to see her son in Maryland..fighting a bug....and telling dirty jokes...goes 4th over all female and 1st age grouper.........she kicks arse!

Art G...The Don Juan of pharmacists...quietly shows up and crushes a great run...and ducks out as quietly as he came in...Art looked GREAT

All female Team of Jenn L and Christen Nobles put together a great effort to carry away a 3rd place finish and shiney hardware and a pair of running gloves

Neil Bacon shows a few moves and grinds a very respectable race in a tough division

The Big Boooyah for Webster goes out to KCherbs...Kris C...Have you seen this Athena lately...well she is an age grouper now and kicken ass and taken names as she passes them... A rockin 14 min swim, a crushing 19.2 mph bike and a solid run gives her first race in the age group a 3rd place podium...oh FIRM doesn't have them....Louisville is right in target and she is going at it the right way

A special thanks to those folks who came down to support the team.. The Maws on Saturday at Patriot, Jenn L at Patriot, Kurt at webster (Wet suit at the ready) and Tonya dragging her crew for the finish at Webster.....And Kosmo's Salsa and chips helping the cold beverages taste that much better

Nice weekend Team
