Saturday Rides from Salem Common

This weekend unofficially starts the "official" Saturday morning rides from Salem Common.  I say unofficially because for some it is a holiday weekend and next weekend, several team members are heading to Battenkill in NY.  So, this Saturday, we will be leaving Salem Common at 9.  There will be a short and long group, with the two groups splitting in Ipswich or where ever anyone wants to split off.  The longer group will be focusing on steady pace once the groups split, heading north and most likely including some final hill work.  Town line sprints, KOM/QOM will be encouraged, but the pace should slow to regroup after these events so that people not participating or slower (like me) can get back onto the group without wearing themselves out completely.  :-)  The ride will roll out of Salem at a conversational pace and increase as we warm up.  If you can ride a bike, come join in the fun, learn about some great North Shore roads and meet some new people!

If you are coming, please bring the food and beverages that you will need, an appropriately tuned up bicycle and the necessary tools to fix it on the road.
